This is a vignette I am working now and I have some photos to show, I was inspired to do this vignette from a Don Troiani's paint, the head for the lieutenant is from Shenandoah miniatures and for the woman from Hornet,
I hope you like it.

Very nice vignette. Would you like me to post some photographs of Civil War womens clothing/accessories? ~Gary

That would very nice of you Gary, I'll make a short search about woman' clothing but it is a chaos, thanks a lot,
Christos.

Thanks a lot Einion,
Gary I am waiting, I'm just puting the final details and by the end of the week I will start painting...
Thank you Mark.

Costas, It sounds like you are further ahead on the female figure than your photos show. In any event I hope these help. If the article on parasols is too small send me a PM with your Email address and I'll send you a larger scan. ~Gary

Gary you are a treasure, thank you so much my friend, I am ready to sculp this big bow on the neck and now I can see how it is !!!
You really solve a lot of problems, thanks again.

Christos, a great idea for a vignette and a great start. ACW being my favorite period in history I'll follow this one with interest. (y)

Cheers Ken

Christos, look forward to meeting you at Euro and I hope this will this be one of your entries in the comps.

Cheers Ken

Very, very nice Christos!!! I think you pretty much nailed the poses, something which is pretty hard to do with two figures interacting like that. Looking forward to see what the rest will look like!! Keep up the good work!

Believe me Anders to combine the poses was the hardest point in this vignette, thank you for your comment,
here some more progress before the final touches, the officer is done and I have to add some bows to the lady's hat and neck,
