This is an Open Box Video Review of the Amaryne, The Border Protector, a Galapagos Miniatures 1/10 resin bust (GP-B006).
Amaryne is one of the most beautiful female bust ever produced in kit form! Ju-Won Jung and his team done an excellent job in this model.

Galapagos Miniatures Team produces beautiful fantasy large-scale busts of excellent quality resin, equal to none! Until now they have released nine impressive busts with excellent sculpting and casting characteristics.

Nice review..only would have liked more background reference..which looks to be on the enclosed card. Looks to be a wonderful project for someone who has the context

I’m working on this one as we speak. A truly great figure. And the sculpt and casting ain’t bad either. OK, all seriousness aside, I picked it up from a vender at Reaper Con last month and immediately put away the project I was working on to start this one. I really hope I can do it justice.

i love it ! would go very well alongside of my Archer by Altores. would have like to see more details shot in the review though (only a constructive comment not a rant :) )

I think that when we have a video review few basic words are enough as the images are very clear showing the quality of the model. And it is an open Box video review, not a construction or assembly presentation. The purpose is to have the opportunity to see in "Real" the contents of the kit and to have the best view of the quality.

All the best

My comments weren’t criticisms at all.... But for me, I don’t know much of the subject genre, so context would have helped..and bridges one segment of the hobby to others...so I get more inspired to try the piece by knowing what the heck it represents. If the piece had appeared poorly executed I would not have wanted to know more. And of course I can google around, but still..however, the video review most certainly is effective portrayal of quality and contents. You are probably right that a video open boxing isn’t trying to do the same as a full Nap review complete with reference pictures and storyline. Full apology if I was off base
