A brilliant rendition of a British Victorian hero. Full of character and a very good likeness. Figure sculpting doesn't get much better than this.

Wow...glad you all like this piece and yes i have the master which i can say is truley brilliant.

The initial mould has been made and casting well. Just got some clear resin for those spectacles so play time today as not used it before.

it will be going off to ernesto as soon as the glasses are sorted for painting.

    Many thanks

    Stuart

Ps this will be from grenadier miniatures and will be the first figure.

Stu-if you use clear polyester for the specs. wash the castings with soapy water, it will get rid of the stickiness from them;)
An excellent figure from Mike I must say!

Fantastic figure. Very clean and detailed sculptwork(y). We like a lot of beard, hair and fur treatment. Draperies is perfect too.

Wonderful! I'm thrilled to hear you'll be doing more Victorian subjects, though in truth I'd buy anything that you sculpt.

    Hi Mike,

Now that is a very nice figure, he stands in a natural pose holding the telescope. Love the beard to this one might end up in my grey army.

    Regards
    John
