The Cowboy/Gunslinger (left) has been bought by VLS to start a new line of 54mm American West figures, buildings and diorama accessories called "Streets of Lareado". The plan on doing a whole town, building by building, I have seen the first two buildings, a Hotel and a Livery stable. They look great!!! Other items to come are a Stagecoach, Conestoga covered wagon, Buck board, Chuck wagon and a ton of figures!!! Oh, and my favorite, a Medicine Show Wagon "Uncle Bob's Cure All". The wagons will be all resin and MUCH cheaper than similar offerings by other hobby manufacturers.

This should indeed be a great new line!!!

VLS has purchased the "Pirate Toast" set, for their FANTAZ line.

    Well,

First one is definately a cowboy, the second one would be a skeleton warrior taking a female hostage!

Specifically the first reminds me of Jack Palance's character in "Shane".
In the second, I thought they were gonna dance! Looked like something out of Phantom of the Opera to me. ;)

    They look really neat.

    Bill,

Is this from the early 16th c. German lithograph of death and the maiden? (I know the shoes aren't right but I figure they might be temporay?)

You are all on the right track, the first one is a Gunslinger waiting for some action. The second and third are going to be a zombie pirate Captain, clutching a female captive and drinking from a bottle of rum.....

In showbiz terms, this is what's called the 'hook', folks. Nifty sculpting anyway and I sure want to see the outcomes.

54mm skeletons! Did you make those? Kit? Are they available in other scales?

    all the best,
    Dan
