Besides Ken's Olga & Tatiana I'm also working on this bunch of 30mm flats.

Having been inspired by Daniel's work on the French infantry I've resurrected the Auvergne regiment.

Probably a first on Planet Figure, Danish Grenadiers c.1700.

And the rest of the Auvergne set.

Thought you had done a Danish Grenadier set before Roger. Perhaps its me and they were Swedish. Grenadier looks super BTW.
So many flats, so little time!

Cheers Dan, those little white Frenchmen are a real pain in the ****, I wish I had picked one of the Foreign regiments in French service, blue or red are much easier to paint.

It's not that hard Roger, just start with a warm white tone, you can even start with a buff tone, then add white progressively till you paint the last light in pure white, then paint the shadows using the buff plus English uniform .
Note: I paint the coats in warm white, the reason being is that i have one in that material and is a creamier white rather than a cold white, pants and vest i do a cold white, that doesn't mean i am right, it's just my perception on the colors.
    Cheers

Another massive group for you to work on Roger.
I really do not know how you have the staying power and energy to work on these armies.
That said your brush skills show through from the first to the last figure. An example to us all.
Great starts Mate, looking forwerd to tracking this lot to completion.
    All the best,
    Keith

Ken, Kev, thank you both very much. The Grenadier a Cheval is my favourite at the moment but usually there is no order to the chaos so which one of these is worked on next or even finished is anyones guess.
