    You are right about the digi camera's though, they do make tiny imperfections into mountains, but can't see any on your creation

    Nicely done, always knew this piece only needed to be decently painted. Like the leathers and the facial tones as well, the facial imperfections are well treated as well.

    He only came to power because of Charles1 being an incompetent and stubborn monarch. In a 2002 BBC poll in Britain, Cromwell was elected as one of the Top 10 Britons of all time.

    Hi Brian

    Being largely Welsh, Scottish and Irish descent as well as a descendant of son Henry Cromwell, I'm not too fond of what he did during his reign none the less.

    I understand that he was of Welsh extraction originally (actual "surname" Williams) like the Tudors his ancestor served, but he didn't do Wales any favors.:(

    Great figure however. I like that you captured his facial warts as depicted in his various portraits (and death mask).
