Hi Guys .

Pegaso is constantly releasing a lot of beautiful figures that force you to paint them.

One of them is this 75mm Hidatsa Indian, sculpted by high skilled French sculptor Beanoit Gauches.



Making a short search in books for the Hidatsa people i found information on a small personal boat the used , the "bullboat".



So i decided to recreate a Hidatsa Indian over Misouri river with his bull boat lifted up on the bank.



Trying to divert a bit from the boxart i decided to make him also look aged



So thats it ..an aged Hidatsa over Misouri River with his bull boat .



I just hope you enjoyed it , as much as i did, since painting must be pleasure ahead of anything else !!!!!

suberb work, the ageing turned out prefectly, the patterns on the clothes are beautiful, nicely set scenery with the boat. By the way, how did you make it (I mean the bull boat)?
Just one little comment on the water, isn't it too blue?

Theboat was made on a frame of thin wire, with rope tighting all the joins and then dressing it up with two stitched thin layers of epoxy putty simulating the bison leathers. I tried to make it as realistic as possible.

The water is blue as i tried to recreate aprt of the river with flow enough and not still waters .
