This is one of 2 pieces I am almost finished with. The bust is from JMD Miniatures and is of an Old Crusader. Painted in Oils, (flesh) and enamels. The 2nd figure will be finished up this weekend and is of Eric The Red, from Scale 75 miniatures.

This bust was sold to a private collector who saw me start it in June when he visited here in Oklahoma.

All comments welcomed. Thanks for looking.

nice work sir. I never thought about it till Gordy said it, but he totally reminds me of the knight from Indiana Jones movie. Hurry with Eric the Red I want to see him!

Excellent work. What's your technique for the chain mail?

Thanks Mark. The technique I use for the chainmail is painting the chainmail black 1st. After drying I use a small flat edged brush and "dry-brush" Floquil Old Silver going accross the top just touching the chainmail. The Old Crusader has 2 dr-brushings of Old Silver.

Cheers for the info Guy. Awaiting a crusade model to come in the post and will attempt to at least come somewhere near the standard.
