After placing the order yesterday, I contacted a friend at my model club to show him what I'd ordered.
The reply was snap, he'd ordered one the day before.
He contacted me today to say that his had arrived, and was praising its quality and how good it is.
So naturally I'm chomping at the bit now, eagerly awaiting delivery of mine.
Fingers crossed it will arrive in the morning.

Let me know what you think when it arrives Malcolm :)

Hi Guys

I see there is now 1/9th of Sam O'Neil and individual heads of him and others ...ideal for flesh painting practice

Waiting to see what the dragoon looks like as well that was mentioned

Nap

I've been into 1/6th scale modelling for a coupe of years and luckily Sid Naique has given me permission to use just the heads so they are ideal to add something different to a figure project.

The Dragoon bust is being worked on at present but I will post up some pics as soon as I have some

Mine arrived this morning, and all I can say is WOW..... The bust comes safely packed with a colour photo you can use as a painting guide if you so wish.
The quality and detail, as already praised by fellow members, I can only endorse.
Truly superb.
I for one will be keeping an eye on future releases.

With all the fantastic releases that are coming out, I'm going to have a busy time ahead of me.
Thank goodness I'm retired or they'd never get painted. :D

I have just purchased a bust entitled “Old Cowboy” from a manufacturer on eBay called Scale Collectables, who produces a range of 3d printed bust, mainly science fiction but also a couple of western characters. The one I bought is based on the character Shea Brennan from the tv series 1883 played by Sam Elliott. The likeness is uncanny and the whole thins reeks quality……..from the bust itself, through to the packaging, info sheets and seller communication.
The bust comes on at about 1/5th scale but the producer tells me he can print them in any scale…..just email for a quote.
He also produces a good looking bust of the Man in Black from Wetsworld.
Just to confirm that I have no connection with this producer other than being a highly satisfied customer.
I only hope my painting does it justice…..(perhaps I’ll just bronze it!).

Thanks for making the initial post, if it wasn't for this I doubt I would've come across it.

Really kind words Malc, so glad you are happy with it

Hi Guys

I caved in ...ordered the 1/9th Cowboy

No willpower and proud of it ...lol

It will be at the post first thing in the morning :)

James Rice has just finished painting the Peter Cushing bust by Sid so I'm busily getting a few printed as there is already a lot of interest

I will get around to finishing the the web site this weekend I promise Kevin lol

....and following on from the last here's James artwork

"Another bad ass bust sculpted by Sid Naique. This is Peter Cushing as Grand Moff Tarkin. I printed this in 1/6 scale. It is painted entirely with Scale Artist tube acrylics, Scale 75 inks and metals. For those going to the Atlanta Show this month, I'll be putting on a demo on how I use an airbrush to get my shadow effects/OSL...as in this bust. I hope to see you all there. Jim"

PS Very fast update on my purchase from Mark ......with a picture of my parcel .....impressive customer service

Blimey, we’ll have to have a separate competition class just for busts of Shea Brennan,
I’m glad that this manufacturer is getting the exposure he so clearly deserves.
Nigel.

That's not a bad idea ..."The Brennan Brush Challenge" .........if members are interested we could set it up to run over say 3 months ...perhaps have a suitable prize ?

All thoughts and ideas welcome

I'd be more than happy donating towards a prize and featuring the winner on the web page.
