    Hi!

I'm starting a full 1/16 Rommel figure from Tamiya, and one of the painting options is having him on the traditional DAK (desert yellow?) uniform.

Any suggestions on a good oils mix that would result in such a final color?

I've researched the Forum, there are many threads and posts concerning WWII German uniforms colors, but couldn't find none for the DAK one.
The only one I was able to find, there's a link to a video on YT with a guy painting a DAK soldier, but he uses acrylics, not oils :(

    Thanks!

    Cheers!

As the old saying goes "necessity is the mother of invention"...

    This mix works perfectly fine:

    Hi Dolf

I have moved this to general figure you might get more mixes

Of course the conditions where the uniforms were worn certainly affects colours
