    Hello Guys,
this is my new experience with sculpting.
I'm trying to create a figure, freely inspired to character "Ogre" (very similar to Orcs, i think).
I create an armature on aluminium, and a thin layer of GS, therefore a first anatomy sketch with Super Sculpey+FIMO.
I finished part of face, and make boots with Milliput+GS.

    Scale about 54mm.

Do you have any advice or suggestion to give me?
    Thank you guys...
    i'm working on it!:sneaky:

I don't like chainmail. I'm thinking to remove it. What do you think?

I think you should remove it.
Thanks for showing, like what you did so far.

Chainmail looks impressive if you do it right, but if not it looks a bit nothingy. Have a look over on you tube, there are lots of posts on how to do chainmail, but if you don't like them, you could always turn those bits into fur?
Generally though it's looking great. One thing I think you should do is stand a ruler next to him so we cen actually see the size.
    Best wishes, Gary.

    Ok, Guys...
    i've almost finished.
I baked it, and finishing touch.
Next step is to use some Milliput to fix some imperfections on skin and so on.

My initial intentions was to create mold, but now, i'm not sure.

The crucial point is that, to create mold, i'm forced to saw the wrist :-(

Although i don't use wire armature inside wrist and arms, I hate to use hacksaw after modeling!!
I read various posts about this issue, but i hasn't found a definitive solution.

    Thank you!

Daniele, if you think you might want to cast it, plan it out first, do use a wire armature, do the breakdowns and the joints at this stage before you do any modelling, then you're sorted before you start :).
    Best wishes, Gary.

    Hi Gary,
This is why i think i don't create mold.
Next sculpt, i'll think about some breakdown to mold creating.
So, i will post a specific topic about this issue, for me very significant.
    Thank you Gary!

    ps. published!
