This a Samurai kit that I have in my grey army. Comes in a sturdy cardboad box.
The Volk's Oda kit is one of the rarest kit. I thought the Calder Craft Mounted Taisho white metal is huge wait until you compare it with the Oda kit. The oda kit is about 1/8, 1/9 scale. One of the largest mtd. Samurai kit in the market.

Yes, it's big and the sculpting and casting is fantastic. I doubt you can even get one for $250.

Are you going to paint it? I don't think the box art does it justice! What do you think?.................Keith

This looks as if it could be a spectacular piece for the Samurai specialists.
Like Keith I don't think the box art does it any favours.

The figure may has seems to be a Manga Fantasy to your eyes.
The painting guide indicated the type of armour that was worn in the Battle of Nagashino 1575.
The style of armour Nanban dou gusoku is a western-style cuirass made of plate armour.

Wow, that will dominate any tabletop you put that on!!!

Will overshadow lots of other entries on the table!!
However, given it's huge size, the room for detail i s there, so it had better appear!!

Would love to see this one all painted up also

    thanks for sharing

    Cheers

    Hi,
I'm looking for some pictures of this kit.Unfortunately I do not find any on the net. I would be interested in how "Oda" was painted from the back. To all who have ever painted this kit and a few pictures could adjust, I thank in advance.
