    i know that feeling! :)

the best thing about our replies to this problem is that we can't really see the problem :)

sometimes you need to put the brush down and say "FINISHED"

by the time i finish most pieces i hate the sight of them, a few weeks later and i can hardly believe i did it!

    lol

    prachtig figuur .
Ik vind dit persoonlijk al een van je beste creaties.
    De rugzak vind ik uitstekend.
Ben echt benieuwd om je figuur in het echt te zien .

My wife's standing joke for whenever I finish a figure and show it to her is "the eyes are crossed!"

Gets a little tired but may be she's always right......did I say maybe?

    Colin,
Your wife give's a look. Mine says: "everything that you paint is great".
She always liked what i paint.
As far as the eyes concern, they are not crossed, but looks different in shape. (at least i think)

Marc, I still see progress in your figures. And you are being harsh on yourself (that's always a good thing if you want to progress) but why not put it aside for a while and try again in a few weeks. Maybe when the frustration is gone you'll be able to work on it with a fresh mind.

    Very simple.
Take some white glue + water. Stir it good. Then put some NaHCO3 (natriumbicarbonate) and stir it again.
Bring this mix to the base with an old brush. Let dry and it looks like my snow.
PS: You can buy NaHCO3 at any drugstore. Normally it is used for stomach problems and it is also very usefull after a great hangover with stomach problems.:D:D:D
