Nosferatu bas relief

    Getting going on this nice little sculpture. Brand new from "The Headless Hearse man". Head is pretty much done. Painted with oils.

    Not seen this relief before - I like the way the hands go beyond the backgrounds edge, nice touch :)

    Thanks guys. I really struggled with the coat. I undercoated it with acrylics as I've done many times before but this time when I applied the oils on top it just sucked all the oil out of the paint. It was like trying to paint with pastels! I sealed the acrylic with a coat of dullcote and everything was okay. Don't know if it was this particular color of acrylic or if I put too many coats on or what.
