Hello guys and Happy new year

Been a while since my last post at PF. Post some pictures of a house made for my newest diorama. The scene is set in Norway 1940. No figures yet but I promise some in progress when started. I'm planning 2 civilians and 2 german tankers mostly scratch I guess.

Well here it is a typical Norwegian house from the 40's

    Cheers

    Per Olav

All I can say is awesome, just awesome work. The building is extreemly realisitic, especially the weathering of the paint, I look forward to seeing this completed.

Once again keep up the great work,

Must be some of the best 'weathered' wood I have ever seen Per Olav - sensational. Cant wait now to see the rest of it come together, remember to post loads of pics!

    Per Olav,

I was wondering where you had got to and then saw this masterpiece, which reminds me of strolling around the far end of Storgata in Tromsø. This has got to be the most inspiring piece of woodwork I have seen since the Minenhunde dio.

ps, Martin, guess Tromsø has a lot of references on buildings like this, are you visiting the southern part of Norway in the future?

  15. Great work pal, I always admire your dios especially from when I had the chance to see them not on print only ... another awesome piece, I like the compactness of the scene, giving it a great perspective and gessing that a Pz1 is involved, it takes a small area indeed ... great work on the wood weathering and the adverts they really add a colourful touch ... from were did you manage to get them?

Hopefully when I make it again for Euro will have a good chat as I missed you last time!

    Keep them coming!

    Greets from Malta!

    Per Olav,

If I can pick up some cheap flights on www.norwegian.no then I will be travelling in Summer or Autumn. Southern Norway is top of the list at the moment.
