    Bert, Thanks for the link, I'd certainly love to visit Normandy one day, you guys are so lucky to have access to such things first hand.

    Thanks for the link. I was planning on visiting Normandy for the 60th. Anniversary services. However, I found out that virtually all roads in the area would be pretty much shut down as of June 4th. until June 7th. for security reasons. Also, the crowds would be so large that I wouldn't even get to see the beaches or the LZ's from a distance. Perhaps next year ...

    As a sidenote, I heard that a re-enactment group will be doing an airborne drop from C-47's over one of the LZ's. Now "that" would be something to see.
