    Thanks for looking
A small modification of a figure I've had gathering dust into a French pilot of the GC3 'Normandie'.
Figure is a Evolution 1/35 Soviet tank commander, new head is from Hornet with a modified Tamiya cap. Still need to add details but he's coming along.
Any advice or comments are always welcomed.

I've got a 1/16th scale figure of the same squadron, so I'll be following.

    Hi Paul

As always a great use of bits and bobs and a nice subject as well , good work on the insignia as well

The Hornet heads are so varied and useful

Any thoughts on a base ...perhaps a tailplane wedgie ?

    Looking forward to seeing more

    Happy benchtime

    Thanks.
If you know some one with a 1/35 Yak they don't want I'll certainly give it a home. Apart from that it'll be the less ambitious grass runway.

Hi Paul, as usually a fantastic figure...isnt my peace of cake, but its incredible the way in which you paint him....very fine the leather of the jacket...but i appreciate so much the perfect way in which you Painted the face..........astonished for me.......could you suggest me the passage to have a so fine result with the skin???

Then as usually, i repeat at every your work i saw......i like so much in which way you mix an Hornet head with resin/plastic hat............with putty hair........BRAVOOOOO !!!!

Just remember the basics of very thin layers and lots of practice. (I find luck helps too.)

    Thanks for looking.
Calling it a day on this one.
I thought the base was a bit dull so I've finished it with an image of the squadron in 1944.
As always your comments and encouragement are much appreciated.
