Here's the Empire chair back roughed in with sculpey. Still needs some clean up and sanding. The two vertical pieces are built over fine wood dowel. The back is set into dremelled groves in the two verticals.

Try mixing in a small percentage of Fimo Professional to the Sculpey mix, it will make it stronger and less likely to flake.

Just found this brilliant piece and wonder if it was finished.

Love to see it in paint.
