This is quite superb. It would however make a nice change to have a USN or RN offering for a change.The best of both were a match for the U-Boat service.

I have to give vent to my anger!

"La Vache qui rit" means translated "the cow is laughing" and is the name of a French Milk brand!

What might actually be meant is the "Bull-Boat" U-47 under Kaleu Günther Prien, which the in
the night of 13 to 14 October 1939 invaded the harbor of Scapa Flow and sunk the battleship
"Royal Oak".
Due to the coat of arms, he was then by the Nazi press the "bull of Scala Flow" called.

After U 47 was lost at the beginning of March 1940 on its tenth enemy trip of unknown cause, the
Taurus, at U 47 as coat of arms led the tower, became the coat of arms of the 7th U-Flotilla.

And the Bull was never red like "la vache qui rit", but a simple white line drawing!

After Andrea and Jeff SHIU, a new U-Boat kiosk
It's great for kriegmarine lovers.
In addition to France we still have bases of German submarines of the second world war.
Some in very good condition, Brest and La Rochelle, others have been transformed, Lorient, Royan, Saint Nazaire, Bordeaux (and I have visited them all)!

Calm down Martin, there's no need to be angry, "La Vache qui rit" is correct. It was the emblem of U514..... and also the emblem of that cheese.
