Very nicely done. I'm not sure that a knight would sheath a sword without wiping the blood off first though!!

As any person who lived in pre-industrial times knew (when stainless steel was unknown),organic matter (especially blood) is corrosive especially on high carbon steel (the higher carbon percentage there is in steel the more succeptible it is to corrosion).Good quality steel swords were extremely expensive so I think that a knight would never sheath his sword without wiping it first.

I do not think that at the end of the battle a knight would remain with his sword in his hands, afraid to put it away with blood; as for the armor, I imagine that when he took it off, there was the squire who was concerned with cleaning and polishing everything, including the sword.
However this does not affect the beautiful pose of the figure and on this interesting painting of the boxart.
