Hi all, hopefully by default I can post this here, as it does have a Alpine figure aboard. the vehicle is named "Ngarie" after one of the crew's wife, stationed at the training depot near the red sea 1945.
Still have some finishing to do and welcome any ideas etc. pics are a little washed out sorry. thanks Les

The vignette looks great!
Post some close-up shots of the face, please. :)

Very nice work, Les.
The whole piece is faultless, and great painting on the figure, well done.

Hello Kiwi:

Oh ma'goodness, I certainly want to add my praise to your efforts.
First off I think your photos are right on the money. Yes, on a lot of
sites, the photos all seem overexposed. But I think you're right on the
money. The pictures show really exemplary work, Kiwi. So well done
on the figure and especially on the packs and other little details that
"adorn" that very interesting vehicle. A first class job and the base with
that name plate looks very classy. Equal to the figure and the vehicle.
However, I hope you will not mind if I mention a very minor point, that
for me doesn't work regarding your ground cover. You have one minor
clump of wheat coloured grasses behind the vehicle and one in front.
To me, as I go out in the prairie and the woodlands here in the Heartland
I surmise that weeds and grasses usually do not look quite like you have
done it. Yes, this is really nit picking, and I apologize for bringing this up.
To me you need to add more of those wheat coloured grasses next to the
clump in the front and in the back. You can close clip the grasses so they
don't overpower the setting. I hope this comment isn't something that
seems unkind. That is not my intent. This is a very lovely presentation.

Carl,series7,Nick Thanks for your comments.
Jayhawk, I appreciate your comments and thanks for your observations on the groundwork,I couldn't agree more as this area has bugged me, will add extra grasses as I should have done on first thoughts. thanks again Les
