Hi Guys my Name is John. I am currently new to the figure painting side of the hobby. I do the hobby on a daily basis due to being on the long term sick with mental health and autism. I was recommended the site from a great chap on Facebook. I have had a small look around on the site and see there is some outstanding work from people. I am willing to learn and hopefully get flesh tones right with shadows and highlights. I currently have citadels flesh tones and ak 3rd gen human flesh tones to do faces and skin hoping to improve over the coming months and years

Welcome among us ... There is plenty place here ...
Feel free to ask, there is always somebody to answer
For applying flesh colours, it's similar to what women does when doing it on their sweet face ... applying a small amount of colour and blushing with a dry round tipped brush ...( look at them when they does ) In 28mm, now, so apply a tiny small miniature amount of colour ( a light touch with the point of a toothpick ) then use a rounded tipped brush and lightly blush the color with many quick passes ... and then .... same process again and again ....

I assure you, it's working well ( Verlinden, I painted almost 40 years ago, the picture on the screen is 25x actual size )
    I was not joking
