Here is my next project 1/6 scale NSW Lancer from Naked Army who produced this beauty several months ago . A cold cast bronze that i have been asked to paint to be put on display in Melbourne.
I have undercoated the figure and will be getting the brushes ready to begin in the next day or so.
I hope to complete this project in 4 - 5 weeks
    Cheers

I am sure you will do a fabulous job with it. The khaki for the NSW Lancers is a tricky mix, but I have no doubt you will nail it.

Nifty!! I see they used the bamboo lance like the Indian and British lancers. Will follow.

    All the best,

A lovely figure. I've been thinking of doing one of these in 150mm for Victory Miniatures.

Stable Belt has been done with acrylic undercoat of bright yellow then a wash of ice yellow , the final coats are of a gold and black wash then a thinned gold and pewter wash to tone it down , hat and collar badges were done with steel and black then highlighted with steel as first highlight steel and silver as 2nd highlight then silver as final highlight

Great stuff Al. The texture paste really works in 1/6th scale. very subtle but definitely necessary.
