Pretty outstanding work both sculpting and painting:eek:I have been following the progress of the painting on Facebook, i am sure you will do well with this in the market place among the WWII enthusiasts.

Very nice bust, beautifully sculpted and painted,it reminds me of Ed Harris in 'Enemy at the Gates',a great release and I'm sure will be very popular among WW2 German Enthuisiasts :)

Cracking job, both sculpting and painting.
I wouldn't be surprised if this does well beyond the WW2 market.

Fantastic scultping and painting. But I think this one would have worked even better as a full figure.

    Hi MJ ,

A great subject , sculpted so naturally , looks to be a mass of parts as well ...going to have to get one I think and do a full Review of this , like the camera ..a nice touch .

It would be nice to have the option of a sniper rifle as well

    Painting is as always amazing

Is this based on a photograph as I am sure I have seen something like this

    Thanks for sharing

These 'supports' are very much associated with Carl's work and are independent of the body of the bust, giving the painter the option to choose any support he or she likes.
Personally I like this one with this figure whereas sometimes I find them a bit 'monumental' for the piece. I some cases I've replaced the supplied support with brass rod and months later gone back and replaced it with the original.
It's simply a matter of preference and it's not as if you're involved in conversion, you just leave it in the box
    Cheers

Thank you very much for your opinion and I agree with you.
I can't do it without my good friend 'Carl Reid' because my sculpting skill is not enough for it and a sculptor for this figure is him :)
But I will check at once for next time, thank you once again for your suggestion.

Thank you veyy much for your comments with opinion.
In fact, I also though sniper rifle while I was doing to ready this figure, but I had to pass for next time.
However, I promise you I will ready it when I can make a chace.

And I didn't use any metal colors for this figure as like NMM.
So I had to spend some more times for finish it but I think I could find another painting skill for me, I think that's enough for this time :)

Thank you once again and have a nice day.

    Regards,

    MJ, Kim
