New 1/35th modern US figure release for March

35004 US Marine w/M16A2 MOPP Gear

This Marine is the second in a series of figures representing the early stages of OIF. He has the standard M16A2 and MOLLE gear for his Interceptor Body Armor. He also has on his back a water hydration pack (camel pack). This African American Marine has stopped for a brief rest and to survey some activity in the distance.





Just in case anybody was wondering the M4 Rifle set is back in stock also.

I wonder if the pose is as it shows in the picture, crouching on both toes with the heels off the ground, very unatural and pretty much impossible when you're carrying 20 plus kilo's of equipment. Perhaps the sculpter was trying for something different to the normal kneeling figure but It doesn't work for me, sorry.
