    Hi Nap,

Ilya Branshtein from IL Miniatures in Passau, Germany, is the ideal go-between for most of the Russian manufacturers in these troubled times. On his site you will find Avanpost, Legion, Medieval Forge, Himini and many others:

    The template, I think...:

... Colonel and leader of a force he had raised himself from deserters and Russian soldiers who stayed behind French lines, with whom he started a partisan war against the French.

Even for his time and the already brutal "Patriotic War" Figner was distinguished by quite unusual cruelty!

He took no prisoners and handed these often vengeful peasants over to the slaughter - if not killing them himself, for which he liked to use an air rifle which he always carried with him.

In Germany he rallied a force of deserted Spanish and Italian soldiers from the French army, whom he called the "vengeful legion" - and began a kind of private war against Jerome Bonaparte, the king of Westphalia.

His "Legion" was defeated by the French - and when he himself tried to swim to safety across the Elbe, he drowned near Dessau in 1813.

In Tolstoy's "War and Peace" the partisan leader Dokhtorov bears features of the cruel Figner.

The two orders are the Russian Order of George 4th class...

... and the swedish Knights cross 3rd class of the Svärten-Order...:
