    Hi Nap,
Thank you very much for your comment. I'm glad you like the figure and movement of the horse. When from El Taller we produce a figure on horseback per month, we try to make their postures harmonious and different from each other.

Great new figure from the Napoleon on Horseback collection, elegant and good paint. Next year marks the 200th anniversary of his death, anything prepared for the occasion?

Nice figure I notice the horse is blinkered ,probable as he struggled to stay in the saddle
  8. Miguel Jimenez-Bravo Well-Known Member

    Hi Ronaldo,
It is the typical head harness of Arabian horses.

    Hi Paul,

Indeed. Coinciding with the anniversary of his death, Napoleon will appear on horseback on St. Helena. At the beginning of his captivity on the island, the English authorities allowed him to ride on horseback, which he did with the Vizir, which they let him take to St. Helena. (In 1802, Selim III, the 28th Sultan of the Ottoman Empire, presented Napoleon I with a small, but magnificent greyishwhite coat Arabian stallion named « Le Vizir » as a token of friendship).

Great touch to celebrate the anniversary of the Emperor. Also I haven't seen any new figures from the Indian Army collection for a few months, is there any coming up soon? I've got pretty much all the figures from this collection and I find them brilliant.

    Paul,
Don't worry , next December, a new figure from the Indian Army series will appear. There are still clients, who like you, have asked me if there would be more. Of course!
