I think, the figure was sculpted after this painting by Jose Moreno Carbonero...:

    Hi Martin,

Several months without any comment from you.
The figure is taken from a very poor quality photograph. It coincides, essentially with the painting you mention, which by the way, it is not by José Moreno Carbonero, but it is painted by Francisco Pons Arnau. In this painting, the color of the horse does not match the horses of the Royal Escort Squadron, which were all chestnut. When the King wore the uniform of the Escuadón, he rode a horse of this colo and no light sorrel as it appears in the painting.
P.S. The next figure in this series will be Kaiser Wilhelm II.

    Hi Miguel!

    On the painting by Pons...

...he wears a helmet, which is a bit different to the painting of Moreno above...:

BTW: Which uniform will the Kaiser wear? Garde du Corps, Imperial Navy?

Thanks for your answer. Kaiser Wilhelm II will wear the Garde du Corps uniform.

Am I right he'll sculpted after this photo?

As far as I know here exists no other photo showing him on horseback as a Garde du Corps. Only this one, taken the same date and the same place just before mounting...:

Without horse there are dozens of templates...:

This site (unfortunately in German) shows the full details of the uniform...:

    Happy sculpting!

Thanks Eduardo for your comment. As you know the coat was adapted in the regulation of 1910, with the small variations introduced later. The helmet, an evolution of the previous helmet of the Squadron of the time of Alfonso XII, was slightly different in the form and in the drawings to the rest of the cavalry (dragons and lanciers).
