    Thank you very much for your extensive comment.Indeed, the 17th Bengal Lancers had a small band of pipers on horseback and two kettledrummers.I am sorry to tell you that the next novelty in the series will indeed be the 17th Bengal Lancers, but he will not be a piper.I am attaching two images of that figure, in case they are of interest to him.
