    Well If I thought the Crusader was taxing ; this one's going to be a real scream:eek::facepalm:

    A real feat of engineering this is and superb casting .
    ITs been 30 years since I last done a horse in this scale :eek:

    Yip all over the workbench at the moment :)
    I believe there is an article in one of Mr blacks books about this one , might have to seek it out as Im in difficulty already ant it only arrived 1 hour ago

    Might need some welding equipment :D I know Glasgow was once renowned for it's heavy engineering but I think they are all dead :)

    It was the horse that sold it :) Gonna need a lot of putty though , not that it's a bad fit but does need a fair bit of reinforcing , just the inevitable stuff with centrifugal casting with large pieces .
    But it's only been over the threshold about an hour or so and I can't put it down :D

    Might try a strawberry Roan on this :facepalm:

    the horse is already de burred , put together and filling with putty as we speak :D

    Done this myself a few years ago Ron .
    Fit is a lot better than than the crusader I found.Just lots of sub assemblies for painting.
    Also doesn't collapse over time like most rearing horses.

    Got to agree it's going together well at the moment and dry fits all seem good and don't see any real problems . May pin a couple of points here and there ie cloak to the body and rider to the horse , shield and helmet .
