Why 70mm and not 75?...75mm would make it compatible with other brands.

I agree, but this looks very promising, with fine detailing from every angle, so I may well consider it as a 'stand-alone' piece (y)

I am a bit puzzled as to why this thread is marked up as NSFW though.

Steve, enlighten me, what is NSFW:confused:

I agree Del it is a lovely piece of work and would stand alone especially with the basework included. But 75mm is such a popular scale why use 70mm? Art Girona are the same, something I have never understood. 3D can be printed out in any scale, I would love an explanation, just something I'm curious about........product differentiation maybe?

  8. The 70mm scale is the right compromise for me, between 54 and 75, obviously as you well know the scale is not absolute, see some 75mm that are actually 70 and others that even reach almost 90mm.
  9. Sorry the NSFW wording was mistakenly being new to the forum, I will provide it immediately

This figure looks tremendous but I share the comments others have expressed about the scale. Had this been 75mm, it would have been a perfect complimentary piece (subject to seeing the real thing and not just a 3D image - once bitten twice shy on that one!) to my RP Models 75mm Carthaginian elephant.

Keith it stands for "Not Safe For Work" (or "Not Safe For Wife" - take your pick LOL  ) .

In other words material of an erotic or pornographic nature that could get you into trouble with your boss and/or good lady if they caught you perusing  .

I think the option is provided here with stuff like the Pegaso nudes series in mind or the old Phoenix Follies, just in case there are any sensitive souls about who may be offended by that sort of thing.
