    Hey Everyone,

Sorry for not being so active as of late but I have 2 little ones that are sick but I am able to squeeze a little time in now. I found a site that I think may be of interest to everyone and especially those who are trying their hand at sculpting. It is a book by Katherine Dewey and here is the site for her work and info on the book. I am looking forward to getting one of these for my library.

Joe, I'd wondered where you had been.
Thanks for the link, that book really looks like a must have, her work certainly speaks for itself, the bit on proportioning looks interesting (y)

BTW, Katherine Dewey is a regular poster for "Shiflett's Sculpting" at http://theclubhouse1.net/

If you don't know them, the Shifletts are two brothers who sculpt primarily large-scale, sci-fi/fantasy figures. They do amazing work, and while not exactly miniatures, lot of the stuff they discuss could be applied to smaller-scales... it's probably worth checking out if you work in Sculpey or any of the other non-hardening materials because they have tips, helpful hints, etc.
