Hello, Now don't laugh but I just received my new figure Gentelman in Khaki from Mitch'es Military Models Outstanding figure by the way very nice. Now I want to do him justice So Is there a place to see uniform colors and webbing that he is wearing. I look around the net and drew a blank. Thank you for any help. Regards, Brock

[IMG] Although the illustration of the same figure you're painting was used on another Osprey cover this book is easily available and should have the information you need

Here's the actual illustration that Paul was talking about (I've also added the plate description).

    Hi there,
Would I be right in thinking that “The Gentleman in khaki “ is the infantryman not the mounted bugler. For uniform/equipment reference I can recommend the website of The Diehards, a re-enactment society that specialise in Victorian Wars. Try thediehards.co.ukSome great photos which might help.
this is certainly a classic figure.

    Oops! ... You're quite correct.

In that case, another good place to look will be the announcement of the release by MMM ...

'moz' uploaded a photo of re-enactors at the top of page 2.

Osprey No. 303 (The Boer Wars 2 1898 - 1900) has this print, which you might find useful ..

    Sorry for the previous error.
