i startet this.the face is doem already.the coat is meanwhile painted red in acrylics which dried highglossy to my horror.so i dusted of the good old oils and overdid it in red oils already with some shading.iam interested to see what finish the dried oils get.well if glossy or semigloss then i have to use dull coat.
the face was painted in acrylics.having already the problem that i can paint all faceareas in different colours with good contrasting,i always have the blending problem.means that the different parts of face are contrasting much to harsh.
so i tried out an simple thing i mixed yellow and red 1:1 to an orange tone.then with lots of water i wahed the face.to much was soaked off with kitchen towell.
and this made it.looks more unified than before.i think i wil try this more often.it seems much more easy than try to belnd all so delicate.i try to blend as good as possible and rest is then unified with the wash
first pic quite near the other with an distance of halfarm the normal distance for looking at an bust in my oppinion
