    Hi Guys

Forgive me for repeating the subject on my first two conversions, but I have had this idea for a long time now and wish for some constructive critique. I have the moustach, beard, hair and the sash left to do, your comments are always welcome......

Hey Dave, this guy is looking good mate. Have you got a colour scheme in mind or are you going to cross that bridge when you get to it.

He's a handsome devil! Forgive my ignorance, but if this is a conversion, what did you start from? I assume you sculpted the hat - that alone is terrific! ;) What else?

    All the best,
    Dan

Dave, SUPER cool idea! I love it! A perfect match for this guy. The little bits of wear on the hat edge are nicely done. Great work. Will love to see him painted!

Dan, this is a piece by Latorre Models of their "Pirate, Madascar 1720". Dave has added the the shirt and collar to this piece, the hat is actually part of the original bust. I just recently finished this piece in my Vbench if you want to see him as the basic (my version at least) bust as a pirate. HTH,

    Hi Guys

    Thanks for your comments...

Hey Steve, thanks mate, there are a couple of colour combinations that I am mulling over at the moment, but we shall see what my mind eventually settles on once the the rest of the conversion is done....

Dave for a second conversion you have set a high standard - I have done a good few more and wouldn't be at your standard, well done mate.

Dave, this looks very nicely done indeed already. It certainly appears that you've been bitten by the conversion bug! I will follow this with keen interest.

    Dave,

This is great. For your second conversion the result is extremely great.
Now, some things to fiddle around, and up to the painting.
