Skin tones a bit flawless and doll-like for my taste but the textures, especially the leather jacket. are superb

Lovely work Dave, the work on the Leather is superb. The skin tones for a blue eyed fair skinned German seem great and not overemphasized

    Hope you are keeping well.

What did you use for your pedestal between the figure and the base, I love it. Plus what brand of gold paint did you use on the walking stick and buttons. Absolutely gorgeous. My jaw is still on the floor. MvR is my favorite "hero" in history so anything I see with his name attached I tend to gravitate towards. Thank you for posting such a fine piece of work sir. Thanks guys, very much appreciated. He was a lot of hard work, it is quite theatrical, but a good result can be got if you push it. Its in fact the 3rd time I have painted this bust for collectors...

Paul, the brass is in fact sprayed Alclad 2 paints, except for the buttons they are painted with the metals range from Darkstar miniatures, quite a nice finish on those.....

    Thanks again

    Dave
