    Hello Dekiman:
Nice of you to respond, Sir. I hope you have fun
with your Musketeer. I like your Avatar, of Richard Sharp
of the 95th Rifles. I enjoyed that series on Public Telivision
here in the American Heartland. And I'm also a big fan
of Bernard Cornwell; read most all of the Richard Sharp
novels that Cornwell wrote. A very intelligent yet clever
    writer. Have a great day,

And back when I was considering these Mini Art figure kits
that "fact" did influence my buying habits. . . shall we say.
Sincerely, I do want to thank you for taking time to
look at my work and comment in such a kind manner. I

Hi Samson: And thank you for your kind comments.
This kit is a 1:16th scale Mini Art Kit from the 2005-06 era.
I am not sure if these kits are still available. They released
a number of those kits in 1:16th scale, at that point in time.
Even an equestrian figure from the Napoleonic era.
    Have a great day,

    Rick

    Hi Rick,
If you remember I spoke to you a couple of weeks ago about your excellent Creature from the Black Lagoon which I also had painted when I was a kid. Now here you are putting on a Musketeer and guess what - I'm currently in the process of painting the very same model!

I have been working my way through this one on and off now for about two years and it is still not completed. Its one of those figures that just I have to be in the mood to work on so I do it in between other figures and busts. I was sort of inspired by a fairly new British TV series called The Musketeers which has just completed its second season here. They all wear leather and shoulder padding which I know sounds kinda 1980s but it seems to work.

I love your version and see that you also have changed the head. My head was from an old Kirin Highlander model and I worked the hair from milliput. The whole of my figure is still a bit in the rough stages but who knows? I may have it finished in a decade or two.

Always nice conversing with you Rick, as you are one of life's true gentlemen and it is always a pleasure to look at your work. Best wishes, John Scott.
