Stephen, this is really nice looking, what scale is it in? Looking forward to seeing it completed and painted. Is this going to be a kit?

That's a beautiful work indeed Stephen. I really like the relaxed pose. Keep up the good work.

So nice to see a figure of this era, not "bolt-upright" and in the same pose. Great casual pose and interesting title, what will he be holding? Keep us posted!

Stephen, That's very cleanly sculpted. Though I'm far from an expert on Napoleonics, the uniform seems rather loose/baggy. It may be more pronounced as the head might be a tad bit small. Just an observation mind you.~Gary

    Hello Stephen,
What is this? A musician of the 3rd Dutch regiment of the Guard? I think Gary has reason, the head seems perhaps small...but can be a wrong impression from the photo...

Marcello, yes it's a musician of the 3rd Dutch Regt. of the guard. A very colourful subject indeed. As for the head. I used the usual measurements. Maybe the colback gives that impression. I will try to show you more pictures when I have them.

    Dave, thanks. It's 65mm but I'm afraid it's a 'one of'.

Jay, thanks. In the left hand he will be holding a pipe. I keep telling him smoking's no good but he won't listen

Stephen, No area in particular, the clothing just looks a little loose for the period. Maybe the angle of the photo makes this look this way.~Gary

    Hi Stephen,
Now I know because you were looking for the instruments...
To help you, here two nice images, one of a Drum Mayor and another of some music companions.
    Best wishes

Gary, after looking closely I think that the area just under the knees needs some correction. I will try to go tighter in that area. Apart from that I think I'm ok. Thanks for the observation.

    Guys, thanks.

Marcello, thanks for the photos. As for the instrument, it's not included in the photo because it's not finished yet. I will try to show more.
