Here is another of my Samurai figures, this time from Post Millitare, in 90mm.
This was quite a complex figure to build and paint, with alot of detail to do.
Samurai armour was often painted in a gloss laquer, hence why his armour is shiny. I have checked this in several publications and red was a very common color.
The horse was done in the mottled whitish grey, to give a nice color contrast to its rider. Hope you like what you see.

Very nice. My husband just got me 2 books on the Samauri and I read the
same thing.. the armor was red laquer on some of the Samauri.
You did a great job.

If i may one point of critism: I find the eyes have to much white. The face can use some shading and highlighting to.
But, it can be the lighting of the picture.
