    Hi,

After Christmas I decided to start sculpting my first mounted miniature.
Now I hope one can see that it hopefully will be a Knight some day.(Knight Panther; Warhammer Fantasy)

It is heavily inspired by the work of Kostas kariotellis.

The biggest parts still missing are the right arm, the shoulders, the cloak and the helmet. Most of the other parts are half done and some small, fragile details (spurs, stirrups, hairs on the ankles of the horse...) need to be added, too.

Any comment, critic etc. is highly apreciated as I think this guy will keep me occupied some nights....

You can find a lot of wip pictures here: www.simon-modrow.blogspot.com

    Cheers, si.

    Hello Simon,

a quite great work which you show us there, fantastic model.

Shall this figure be acquired for sale, or does remain it a single-piece?

Hope to see you in Ingolstadt !

    Many greetings

    Sound of jaw dropping!

I'm not saying this looks sexy, but cut my legs off at the knee and call me a tripod!
    Absolutely amazing work!

    Hi,

Thank you all very much for your kind words!

@Elaphus: I think it would be almost impossible to get it casted so unfortunatelly there will be no copies of it.
Looking foreward to meeting you in Ingolstadt, too.

@TWOMOONS: The tail was done with greenstuff streaks over a milliput base structure...yet I´m not really satisfied with the result...I think I will change it in some way.

    Thank´s for looking, si.

    Layers upon layers of detail!

All those little effects (such as the mane, the plate armour, the barding) all add to a "Wow" sculpt.

Bravo, and applause for your patience.

    Cheers

freaking amazing my man. Can't wait to see this painted and hate to see it painted at the same time. It looks cool just as is. You should check with a caster to see if it could be copied but your probably right, there are alot of details that might be impossible to cast.
