    This is a truly outstanding piece of work
    The dappling on the horse and the rendition of the leopard skin are supererb.
    One of the best figures I have seen in a long time.

    Chris,
    basically a leopard skin is a three step of painting.
    1st a series of washes to create the base, look at a picture for the colour. I use a series of washes of cream / earth tones;
    2nd I paint the black dot, I use to paint them in Ivory black with a lot of colour on the tip of the brush. I try to repeat the shape of the dot that's are different in the different part of the skin.
    3rd the reddish centre is added with a diluted color.

    it'snt so difficult to do, only some patience
