I just recently finished the Mongol bust by Young Miniatures and after taking photos I decided to also re-take the MIG Mongol Hunter and also a couple of photos of both together.

Tube oils = all flesh areas
enamels = all other areas

Thanks for looking

Guy, if I may, IMHO, the grey hair on the Mongol Hunter, blends too much with the fur on his hat, otherwise they look great; the fleshtojnes are spot on.

Hi Guy!
I frequently look at a list and I regret that I am not able to paint itself. Very much it is pleasant to me!
Yours faithfully.

Thanks Matt. I always try to keep mine a litle different than what others are painting. What have you been working on lately?

Thanks ch67r, Marcel, Marcin, Roc and Jay. I appreciate your feedback.

ch67r ~ Both busts were sculpted by Young B. Song. The Mongol with the Eagle was released by MIG Productions. The older Mongol is a recent release from Young Miniatures.

Jay ~ I ahm happy to say there is no known cure for "Mongol itis"..........just another Mongol :D:D:D

Guy,excellent painting on both busts,love the skins and the grey hair is fine with me.Well done.
But I feel that the angle at which you've mounted the MIG
bust has put the falcon in an odd position.I think it needs to be sitting at 90 degrees.
