Did some work on Bittrich today.

Sculpted by Offo as part of the Arnhem set.

The coat is in oils but I will dab more colours then dullcoat it and it should look more like reverse sheepskin.

As always beautiful work on the clothing Grant. 'Furs' could probably take a few more shades.
    Very realistic fleshtones (y)

Thanks for the kind comments guys.

    Here is Bittrich completed.

I'm painting him for someone and he asked for the coat to be leather instead of reverse sheepskin so I darkened it a bit.

The peak was washed with thinned Tamiya smoke and built up.

The fur was washed with thin oiled paint.

Excellent work Grant, this turned out beautiful (y)!

The sheen on the leather coat is spot on as well as all the other textures. I am curious as to what made you try Tamiya smoke on the cap bill. Was it one of those,...lets see what happens if I do this moments ? What ever the case, it turned out pretty good I think.

Very very nice Grant, I agree with the lads that the flesh tones are excellent.
