As part of the Springtime walk sculpt, I'm working on the dog of my friend.

feedback welcome, I'm looking at the anatomy and the muzzle to skull needs smoother blending, the hips and shoulders look too narrow......

Although she does have long fur, so that may be throwing my observations off.....

    Feedback & comments welcome...

    Cheers

OK! To me she looks a tad too long in body as well as the snout. However, since Liz is a long hair, once you fill her out some more she may not appear as long in body. Hope I make sense.

Thanks for chiming in Joe (and having live reference helps! ;))

I agree, bit too long, I altered the neck/ head sit. I added a layer for the texture of the fur, I'll do the forelegs and hindlegs later.

you looking over my efforts so far is appreciated....

    Cheers

    PS it did make sense:)

Looks nice so far Jamie. I think the poo in the first sculpted pic is too big for a Dachshund, long hair or otherwise.
But looking good. Please keep us posted, mate.

    Mark,
thanks for that, you always manage to find a key point that makes me fall off my chair laughing :ROFLMAO:

Homing in on the head, the ears are a bit flat and lifeless, and the brows around the eyeballs are too heavy, giving the face a 'sunken eye' look, not right for this breed.

So I'll be reaching for the carving knife to adjust....

Updates as soon as real life gets dealt with,

    cheers!
