Here is something I have been messing around with and something totally different for me. These are some flats I made on some sheet plastic that was too thin for shelving. They are all based on modern pin up pictures I found online. The first girl doesn't have panels engraved on her (I just didn't think about doing it) the next two I used a dremmel to engrave panel lines.

The first three are where they sit unfinished at the moment. The bottom six show the steps for making the "Bombs Away" one.

You are too kind sir. I'm not sure if I will take them to Atlanta or not but if I do they will not be in the open. They don't compare to that kind of stuff because there isn't really anything to them other than paint on some plastic. Now, if I went one step farther and built the inside portion of that section of the airplane (which I have toyed with) I would consider it worthy to go in the open category. Plus, Rusty Nail is going to kill me if I don't get Princess Leia done.

Thanks guys for checking them out. I can't take credit for the idea. I saw a couple of people on the internet that paint these and that is what gave me the idea. I like nose art, pin-ups and airplanes. Match made in heaven.
