Osprey has about a dozen titles available on Napoleonic French uniforms, equipment, etc, including photographs, line drawings, and color illustrations. There are separate volumes for cuirassiers and carabiniers, dragoons, hussars and chasseurs, lancers, Guard cavalry, etc. This entire series is very good.

Search for various titles and check the Men-At-Arms series.
