The last bust I finished (I love painting busts) was a great sculpt from Matt Grech.
It's a Militia Man from the War of Independence, witch I painted in a 7th Pennsylvania
Regiment outfit, I can only recommend it, because it's very nice sculpted,
very clean casted, with no colored picture of the bust itself in the box,
but with an excellent guide of 5 different ways of painting it.
Also a colored picture of different ways you can paint the scrimshaw,
Infact, I really enjoyed painting it,

Sorry somethimes for my English, guys,

So here it comes, tell me what you think.

Nice painting. The powderhorn looks pretty good. One thing I did not realize is that Elvis fought in the Revolutionary War. lol ~Gary

Just to add to the superlatives already heaped on this paint job and to emphasise that you can never get too much praise. Lovely paint job, particularly on the face (that's what busts are all about) and you are right it is a superb sculpt from Matt. It is the first time I have seen it painted and it now prompts me to go ahead and order one, it is a period of history I particularly like anyway.
Some great painting on your website by the way,
    Keith
