I don't know when you last browsed an Airfix catalogue mate....the collectors series and multipose ate only generally available through ebay and similar unless you get 'em at a show. So it's hardly a medium youngsters are going to have to tempt them into trying anything.
In addition the vast majority of staff in the GW shops have no idea or understanding of even the existance of historical miniatures.

Yes Mark I have seen the fabled book of plasticus assemblimus, it was displayed to the faithful at Telford and put back in the library and chained for safety.

You could ask for it back Mark, he will be on BritModeller or Mil Mod forum or summat.
If you open a nostalgia thread in the other forums he'll own up and you can catch him.

This time, you could make it personal.

Nah, I vaguely remember watching this, 'Tea-Leaf', being force fed porridge! by a very unsympathetic nurse. Fingers on nose and swallow kind of thing. . . That made me happy.

Revenge......always a dish best served cold:troll::mad: Or, in his case, hot salty porridge. Nemesis. A righteous infliction of retribution administered by a suitable agent, in his case, I hope it was a big, muscly nurse.(y)

Alan, if I had known of the many courses of revenge that is available today such as 'herbal infusion', that would have been sweet! ... But I was a 5yr old, so the porridge will have to do. :D

    Guys ,

Let's try and keep to the thread without too much high jacking!

On the. MM subject I am 3/4 way through an article for the editor

In this months issue is a paint article on a FeR bust , previous one had a US Jeep with lots of figures on it ...looks like the editor is trying to include figures

Only 3/4 . just kidding. good news and keep up the good work.
I've typed up the heading for my next article.

As I mentioned before it may take a little while for the figure articles to filter through. It definitely seems that the editor is making an attempt to try and restore the figure
presence in the mag. good for us, not the you know who's.
