I'll be doing a sbs for Steve (Helm) to follow along with in the hope we'll see him finish a flat. :D

Here is the prepped figure. it's had a couple of coats of Vallejo Pale Sand as an undercoat and the little arrow top left indicates the direction on the imagined light source.

Next step will be the face.

    The face step 1.

Flesh mix, White + Burnt Sienna + tiny amount of Cadmium Yellow. Very Pale applied to chin, cheeks, brow and nose.

More Burnt Sienna was added and this was blended around the edges and shadow areas.

Burnt Sienna into the eye sockets.

I'm not too worried about detail such as the eyes at the moment these can be added later, light and shade is more important at the moment.

Thanks for the link Roger, and as a special offer for anyone wanting to follow or paint at a later date I've just halved the price of this figure to £3.50 for the month of March.
Free postage within the UK and £3.50 to the rest of the world.
