    Hi guys,

Another big project on the go.
This time a New Zealand Rifle Battalion Lewis Gunner c. 1917-18.
First face photo, still early days - note hair unpainted & toothpick is temporary cigarette.

What do you reckon so far?

    Thanks in advance,

    Mike

Nice work Mike, love the stubble, must be a good feeling being able to take a close-up photo and have it still look realistic(something I can't quite do yet).

    Cheers Zane

Beautiful Mike, Is this another Naked Army Bust? Love the way you have given him a realistic skin tone, quite blotchy when you look closely

Yep Ben, he's a conversion of Naked Army's Aussie Lewis Gunner.
Thanks mate for comments on skin tone, definitely trying to get blotchy & realistic effect to a young guy that has been through a tough scrape as Passchendaele sadly was.

    Stay safe

    Mike

Thanks to each one of you guys, always nice to get supportive comments.

Hi Graham pleasing to hear the eyes work for you, never to sure if these look right.

Thanks Nick, want him to look like he's been in a rough 3 days early October 1917.
Just a few to indicate it wasn't good without overdoing it.

    Stay safe everyone,

    Mike
